Well...what do u know...its Fasting Month again. All of a sudden, dates (kurma) are a compulsory dish every single day. Its strange how a month of fasting can change our attitude and thought about food. During break fast, we swap Milo for Tea just because the latter one is less fatty and easy on the throat. Plus, its alkali and should help keep the balance between acid and alkali level in our stomach. Ye ke? Dont quote me...iam not a dietrician (right spelling? )
One nite, after break fast, we decided to have some teh tarik and roti canai at a Mamak near the house. The wind was picking up by the time our drinks have arrived. Nabil and Erisa was sharing a single roti canai when suddenly a storm hit the area. First...we laughed at each other and the wind brought some light rain. But soon enuf, it became a torrent rain and hailstorm. We rushed to the car and by the time we are sitting down inside, we were completely drenched....but the spirit was still up and high...we laughed all the way home....The next day, when we drove into town...we saw the mayhem dat was created by last nite storm and realised that we were lucky.
Erisa is doing very well in her second year of fasting. Last year she completed 30 days effortlessly. RM2.00 per complete fasting day..dat will bring to a RM60.00 duit Raya. Not a bad amount to earn for a 10 year old, ay
We be going back to KL on the 10th October and will spend 10 days with Emi's side of family. Just hope that the trip will be a blast. In the meantime...enjoy the latest fotos...Salam!

Hello again! After 8 months in WP Labuan, I'am united again with my family. The project in Petronas Megamethanol is now almost complete, though I may be back there again for the final inspection and handing over the buildings. Nur Erisa is now 9 years old and she's taking up violin classes every Sunday at 11:30am. She seems to be picking up with the lessons pretty well and I guess the talent is in her blood . We went to see Farid Ali (Mr. Gambus) and Roger Wang at a small Jazz Festival here in KK. Musicians do make magic when they play out of their hearts. Bought a couple of cd's at the counter just to show support to them.
Nadine Emily is growing up well too. She's a funny one with curly hairs and chubby figure. We fondly call her Boney M or sometimes Alleycats due to her natural afro (must be from my mom's side). Her first word is "Air" for water. She drinks a lot. She'll ask for plain water almost everytime she sees one of us holding a glass or water bottle. That didn't do well with her older brother, Nabil who thinks that she's picking on him . At this age, she controls the daily routine in the house. She control us. And we kinda play along too. The strange thing about her is that she would never stop munching. Even after a hearty meal, she'd tag her nanny and bring her to the fridge/cabinets where all the good stuff is kept. She'll have anything from biscuits to chocolates and even a bowl of ice cream. Maybe we pamper her too much.
Nabil is also robust and energetic. His army truck is now broken apart due to some major overhaul that he needed to perform . His 5th toys guns is also a silencer (having loss the gun effect sound). Come to think of it, I should stop buying guns for him. He'll be amused for hours and on over a small tiny monkey toy that comes free with a Lollypop. With a little assembly work from me, that little monkey saves the day at the Waterfront.

My new baby girl - Nadine Emily
|
|
Hello frens...let me introduce our third edition..Nadine Emily, born 23 November 2005
What a joy of bundle she is...weighing 3.4kg at birth! She's now 4 months old and she is already starting to lie on her stomach and grabbing what little hair i have left on my head...Her brother, Nabil couldn't help himself and continuosly poke her cheek, stomach and sometimes on the face just to assure himself that this wiggling, crying, milk-drinking and chubby thing is in fact another human being and not the battery-operated toys that i bought for him.....

Its easy to see that I'am blessed with many good fortunes. We may not be rich, but we make the best out of what we have .Emi, my beloved wife has been a strong character behind every major move that i made. Erisa, my first baby, has grown into an 8-year old child whose cleverness and playful mischievious character has provided us with endless memories of pleasent happenstance and sometimes of nerve-wrecking moments. Nabil, my little carbon copy is certainly a handful. He'll be one year old on the 2nd of June and we soon learned that a boy is even more adventurous and robust than a daughter. Reflecting on the age difference of eight years between Erisa and Nabil, we find ourselves pondering into the future, in which a third addition is soon to arrive at the end of the year. What a family we would be!!

A Journey in Life
|
|
Dear friends,
My own little discovery about this website came about when a good friend of mine, Azli had introduced it in his email from Riyadh. So I am embarking on a personal voyage that is to document as much as possible any happenings and events that are worth documenting in this site, so that it may serve as a memory of my existence in this world. I appreciate any comments from all of you and hope that all your dreams would come true.
Robin
